Presentation one: ideas for project

1. We Started by looking at eachothers works and interests and realised that we all have a common theme around identity and culture.
2. We are all from different cultures and countries and all share different values and traditions but are interested by the similarities that we share. If people were so different then there wouldnt be intergration.
4. We have been looking into artists and speakers who situate their work around culture and identity. We found a speaker called Terence Mckenna who talks about culture as an operating system and that we can clear that operating system and upload a new one whenever we want to or whenever our lives change. These ideas have become useful to us.
5. We wanted to think about being in eachothers shoes and how different our lives would be if we lived in another culture.
6. We have a few proposed ideas for our final project. We was thinking about a film of an activity whereby we all perform and pass onto eachother gifts of our culture that maybe we feel proud about in our culture and would like to pass onto other cultures- self portrait mixed culture.
