Wangechi Mutu- artist research!

Hey group! i havent got the slightest clue how to use this thing! It really needs to be customised and stuff but i cant work out how to do it :S so if we can have a get together somtime next week??? and if anyone could make some adjustments if they know how to then that would be good! I just found this artist called Wangechi Mutu as ive been looking into collage at the moment and i really like some of her stuff so i thought id share with you guys to see what you think? She uses materials from fashion magazines, national geographic, and books about African art. She pieces together figures which are both elegant and perverse. The individual body parts are made to seem like odd prosthetics glued over torsoa and limbs drawn in ink. She uses these conflicting textures to draw a wide range of connotations, from glamour models to dyed fabrics, diseased skin and science fiction special effects.
If you like this work and want to read up further you can find quite a good account on the saatchi gallery website. Let us know what you think? It might be good if we are thinking about a multi- cultural society? does anyone have any ideas?
